Loma Vista is a small custom-home neighborhood on the north side of Marble Falls, and I like showing it to buyers who want Hill Country views and mature trees without leaving town limits. It’s quiet, but you’re still minutes from Marble Falls’ Main Street.
I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty, and I work Marble Falls real estate regularly, Loma Vista included.
What makes Loma Vista different
Loma Vista is a custom-build subdivision — homes here started going up around 2018 along streets like Vista Lane, so it doesn’t have the cookie-cutter feel of a mass-produced tract community. Lots run larger than what you’ll find in newer Marble Falls developments, which means more room between homes and, in a lot of cases, real Hill Country views from the back porch.
Because it sits on the north edge of town, you get some separation from Marble Falls’ more built-up corridors along Highway 281 while still being a short drive from grocery stores, restaurants, and the lake.
Living in Loma Vista
Marble Falls’ downtown Main Street is a few minutes away, with local restaurants, boutiques, and an H-E-B nearby for everyday errands. If lake access matters to you, Lake Marble Falls and Lake LBJ are both close by for boating and fishing, and the rest of the Highland Lakes chain is a short drive further out.
If Loma Vista doesn’t end up being the right fit, I’d point you toward a few other Marble Falls neighborhoods worth a look below — each has its own character, and I can walk you through what sets them apart.
What to check before you buy in Loma Vista
Because these are custom builds rather than a single production builder’s floor plans, quality and finish level vary more from house to house than in a typical tract subdivision — I always look closely at who built each specific home and how it’s held up, rather than assuming the neighborhood name alone tells you what you’re getting. I’d also confirm whether a given lot has a deed-restricted view easement, since that affects what a neighbor could eventually build in front of you.
Marble Falls itself has kept a fairly small-town feel even as the surrounding Hill Country has grown, and Loma Vista’s location lets you have that quiet without a long drive for groceries or dinner out. If you want to compare it against Marble Falls’ other neighborhoods before deciding, I’m happy to walk through the trade-offs.
