Find the Right Home in Austin
Educated. Experienced. Entrusted.
Buying a home isn’t just about finding one you like. It’s about making a good decision, getting the home you want on terms you’re comfortable with, and successfully navigating everything that happens between finding it and getting the keys.
That’s where I come in.
I represent buyers. I don’t sell them houses.
My job isn’t to convince you that a particular home is “the one” or pressure you into making a decision. I want to understand what you’re trying to accomplish, help you evaluate your options, and give you the information and perspective you need to make decisions with your eyes wide open.
Finding the House Is Only the Beginning
You may find the home yourself. I may find it. It may come through my app, another real estate website, an open house, or even a friend. It doesn’t matter who finds it. What matters is what happens next.
That’s where representation becomes important.
We’ll look at the property, the market, the price, the condition, and the things that matter specifically to you. If you decide you want it, I’ll help you determine how we should approach the offer, explain the contract and your options, negotiate terms, coordinate the people we need around us, and help you navigate inspections, financing, appraisal, title, deadlines, and the decisions that come along the way.
And if I see something that concerns me, I’ll tell you. I’d rather talk you out of the wrong house than talk you into buying one.
Your Home Search Starts With You
Before we worry about listings, I want to understand what you’re trying to accomplish.
- Where do you want to live, and why?
- What do you actually need from your next home?
- What would be nice to have, but isn’t essential?
- How do you live in your home day to day?
- How important are commute, location, schools, amenities, outdoor space, or neighborhood characteristics?
- What price range makes sense for you, and have you talked with a lender about your financing options?
- What are you willing to compromise on, and what aren’t you?
Those conversations help us build a search around your life and your goals, rather than simply checking boxes for bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage.
Representation Before Transaction
With more than 40 years in real estate and extensive advanced real estate education, I bring experience, contract knowledge, negotiation strategy, market perspective, and practical judgment to the table.
But those things only matter if I use them for you.
You should understand what you’re signing, what you’re offering, where you have choices, what risks you’re accepting, and what happens next. I’ll give you my advice and tell you what I think, but the decisions remain yours.
That’s the difference between helping someone find a house and representing someone who is buying a home.
That’s the experience I want you to have with Uncommon Realty.
