Homes here are zoned to Naumann Elementary, Cedar Park Middle, and Cedar Park High School in Leander ISD. The neighborhood is a short drive from Austin Community College’s Cedar Park campus, which runs a shuttle to the CapMetro rail station for a car-free ride into downtown Austin, and it’s close enough to Lakeline Mall and the shops along US 183 that you’re not making a special trip for groceries or a decent dinner. US 183 and SH 45 both put you on the tech corridor or the rest of Cedar Park within a few minutes. The neighborhood HOA has managed the community since 2011, and dues cover the entrances and common areas rather than heavy amenities, which keeps the monthly cost modest.
What you’ll find on the market here
Most of the housing stock in Lakeline Oaks is single-story and split-level brick and stone construction from the late 1990s and early 2000s, on lots that run noticeably bigger than what’s platted in the newer subdivisions farther north in Cedar Park and Leander. That means more yard, more mature shade trees, and fewer homes packed shoulder to shoulder. Because the neighborhood built out years ago, turnover is steady rather than heavy — when something well-priced comes up, it tends to move fast, so it helps to already be pre-approved and have your search criteria dialed in before you start touring.
