Arbolago is a gated community in Lakeway with some of the best Lake Travis views around. If you’ve driven past the gate off Lohmans Crossing and wondered what’s inside, it’s a mix of custom homes on tree-lined streets, most of them built to take advantage of the lake view or the Hill Country behind it.
I am Robbie English, REALTOR and Managing Broker at Uncommon Realty, and Lakeway is one of the areas I work most.
Residents get their own private lakefront park, about 16 acres, reached by a mile-long nature trail from inside the neighborhood, with a picnic area, boat ramp, boat dock, and a sports court. Hurst Harbor Marina and the Sail & Ski Yacht Club are just down the road if you keep a boat on the water full time, and Sundancer Grill is a short drive for a bite afterward.
Because Arbolago was designed around lake frontage and views rather than fitting the maximum number of homes onto the land, lots here tend to run larger than what you’ll find in most Lakeway subdivisions. That’s part of what draws buyers who want real separation from their neighbors, with room for a pool, an outdoor kitchen, or just a bigger yard.
Schools and Getting Around
Arbolago is zoned to Lake Travis ISD, one of the reasons families choose it over comparable communities without leaving the lake. From the neighborhood you’re within about 15 minutes of several golf courses, hiking and mountain biking trails, tennis facilities, and multiple medical centers, so day-to-day errands and appointments don’t mean a long drive into Austin.
If Arbolago isn’t quite the right fit, take a look next door at Lohmans Crossing Estates, or browse the full range of Lakeway homes for sale to compare gated and non-gated options side by side.
Before you start touring gated communities like this one, it’s worth getting pre-approved, and if you’d like to talk through what you’re looking for first, I’m happy to schedule a buyer consultation. Reach out anytime you’re ready to see what’s currently available in Arbolago.
