Caballo Ranch sits near the Cedar Park/Leander line, about two miles from the 183A Toll Road, and it’s a community I show often to buyers who want newer construction with real amenities. The neighborhood is bordered by Block House and Brushy creeks, and it’s close to the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park. Search the current Caballo Ranch listings below, and reach out anytime if you want my take on a specific one.

Amenities and getting around
Caballo Ranch has catch-and-release fishing ponds, walking trails, a pool, a park and playground, a soccer field, and tennis and basketball courts, plus creek-side trails along Block House and Brushy creeks. Homes here were largely built out around 2018, so the neighborhood has newer construction with square footage generally running from roughly 2,000 to 4,500 square feet.
Schools
Caballo Ranch is zoned to Leander ISD, with kids attending Akin Elementary, Stiles Middle School, and Vista Ridge High School.
Why buyers like it
Because the neighborhood was largely built out around 2018, most of the homes here have newer floor plans and finishes compared to older Leander subdivisions, without the construction dust of a still-developing community. Being close to both the 183A Toll Road and I-35 makes it workable whether you commute toward Cedar Park, Austin, or up toward Georgetown.
