Connellys Crossing Homes For Sale

Connellys Crossing is a 150-home neighborhood off Bagdad Road in Leander, near the intersection with Crystal Falls Parkway and close to Robin Bledsoe Park’s pool and sports fields. Oryx started the community in 2013, and D.R. Horton finished it out between 2015 and 2018, so you’ll see a fairly consistent D.R. Horton floor plan lineup here, with one- and two-story homes generally running from about 1,300 to 2,600 square feet. The neighborhood is zoned to Leander ISD, though as with any subdivision, it’s worth confirming the specific assigned elementary, middle, and high schools for an address before you commit.

I’m Robbie English, a broker with Uncommon Realty here in the Leander area.

Living in Connellys Crossing

Robin Bledsoe Park is the neighborhood’s main amenity, and it’s a real one: 16 acres with lighted synthetic turf multipurpose fields, a splash pad and pool, a playscape, an outdoor basketball court, an amphitheater, and a walking trail. Inside the subdivision itself, sidewalks and tree-lined streets connect a few small community picnic areas, so it reads as a fairly walkable pocket even though it’s not a big neighborhood. Because the whole community went up over a tight five-year build-out under one builder, home styles and lot sizes stay pretty consistent block to block instead of mixing eras like you’ll see in some older Leander subdivisions. That consistency also means most homes are now seven to thirteen years old, so buyers are typically looking at original systems rather than a brand-new build, which is worth factoring into an inspection.

Buying or selling in Connellys Crossing

Because inventory here is limited to 150 homes total, listings don’t sit long when they’re priced right, and there usually isn’t a large pool of active comps to lean on at any given time. When I’m helping a buyer here, I pull recent closed sales from Connellys Crossing specifically, and if those are thin, I widen out to the same D.R. Horton floor plans in nearby Leander subdivisions rather than guessing from a citywide average. For sellers, that same limited inventory can work in your favor, but only if the listing is positioned against what’s realistically competing with it, whether that’s another Connellys Crossing resale or new construction elsewhere in Leander.

Nearby Leander neighborhoods worth comparing

If Connellys Crossing’s inventory is thin when you’re shopping, Ridgewood North and Westview Meadows are both close by with a similar single-family footprint. If you want something smaller or lower-maintenance, Valley Vista East has condos in the same part of town, and Leander duplexes are another option if you’re looking at a smaller footprint or an investment property.

If a specific listing in Connellys Crossing catches your eye, reach out and I’ll pull the disclosures, recent sold comps for the neighborhood, and anything else you need to make a confident decision.
