Seven different builders — KB Home, Gehan Homes, GFO Homes, Highland Homes, Pulte, Toll Brothers, and Ashton Woods — worked on it over the years, which means you’ll find a real range of floor plans and price points within the same neighborhood rather than one cookie-cutter layout repeated on every street. Between the seven builders, there are more than 50 floor plans across the community, ranging from three to six bedrooms. Gehan’s homes, for example, run around 3,000 square feet with prices starting in the mid $400s — other builders in the community sit at different price points, so it’s worth comparing a few before settling on a favorite. Construction continued in phases through 2021, so you’ll see some variation in age and detailing depending on which section you’re in.
Amenities and daily life
The community’s amenity center has a resort-style pool with a splash pad, a clubhouse, sport courts, and a fitness area, plus ponds and walking trails threaded through the neighborhood for anyone who wants to get outside without driving anywhere. It’s a real amenity package, not just a mailbox kiosk and a patch of grass, which is part of why Mason Hills draws families specifically.
Schools and what’s nearby
Mason Hills is zoned to Leander ISD — kids attend Whitestone Elementary, Leander Middle School, and Leander High School.
