Northwest Hills sits on a hilltop in the 78731 zip code, bordered by Far West Boulevard, Mesa Drive, Spicewood Springs, and Mopac. It’s an Austin ISD neighborhood, with Doss Elementary, Murchison Middle School, and Anderson High School serving the area. Mopac and 360 both run along the edges of the neighborhood, putting downtown roughly 14 minutes away by car, and the terrain itself gives a lot of the streets genuine hill views that flatter parts of Austin don’t have.
Northwest Hills townhomes
The townhome and condo cluster sits mainly in the section closest to Mopac, which keeps the commute short while still backing up to the quieter single-family streets that make up most of the neighborhood. Units typically include a garage and multiple stories, with private patios or small yards on many floor plans — a reasonable middle ground if you want less exterior maintenance than a standalone house but more privacy than an apartment.
