I named my brokerage Uncommon Realty on purpose. Not as a slogan — as a description of how I think real estate should actually work.
Most people go through the standard process: pick an agent, get shuffled through paperwork, hope it works out. That’s fine if you don’t expect much. I built Uncommon Realty for people who expect more, and for agents willing to work at a level most of the industry doesn’t bother with.
TLDR: Taking the Uncommon Path – Why It Works in Real Estate
- Uncommon Realty was built around the idea that clients deserve real expertise, not a script.
- I’m Robbie English, Broker at Uncommon Realty, a national real estate instructor and speaker with decades of hands-on experience.
- You get strategic thinking and direct access to that experience, not a generic process.

You’re Not Obligated to Do It the Usual Way
Most buyers and sellers get passed from one agent to the next, confused by the process, unsure who’s actually working for them. I’ve watched homes get undersold and opportunities missed because the agent involved was more interested in closing the deal than doing right by the client. That’s the standard experience, and it’s exactly what I built Uncommon Realty to be different from.
What I Mean by “Uncommon”
At Uncommon Realty, real estate is strategic, not scripted, and personal instead of cookie-cutter. I’m a nationally recognized real estate speaker and instructor — I’ve spent decades mastering this market, and I teach agents across the country how to do the same. When you work with me directly, you get that same depth of knowledge applied to your transaction, not a watered-down version.
Thinking About Selling?
When other agents are still figuring out contracts and negotiation on the fly, you’ve got someone who’s spent a career getting it right. That’s the actual advantage of working with someone who trains other agents for a living.
Real Estate Built to Anticipate, Not React
A lot of real estate is reactive — a house comes up, an agent responds. I’d rather build the plan ahead of time: understand your goals early, anticipate what’s coming in the transaction, and position you to act instead of scramble. Whether you’re buying your first home, selling something that no longer fits, or investing with intent, that’s the approach I bring to every client.
Why I Built It This Way
I didn’t build Uncommon Realty to fit neatly into the industry — I built it to do things differently, for clients who see a home as more than a transaction and want someone who thinks that way too. It’s not for everyone, and I’m fine with that. It’s for people who want a real estate experience built on actual expertise instead of a sales script.
Where This Leads
The uncommon path in real estate isn’t always the easiest one, but it tends to get better results — a home priced right instead of guessed at, a negotiation handled with actual strategy instead of hope.
If that’s the kind of experience you’re looking for, whether you’re buying, selling, or thinking about joining my team, I’m Robbie English at Uncommon Realty, and I’d like to hear from you.
