It’s zoned almost entirely to Leander ISD, and the 183A extension has made the commute into Austin considerably easier than it used to be.

What’s Different About Leander
Leander has grown faster than almost anywhere else in the Austin metro over the past several years, and most of that growth has been new construction — meaning if you’re looking for an older, established neighborhood with mature trees, you’ll find fewer options here than in Cedar Park or Round Rock. What you will find is more master-planned communities with amenity centers, newer schools, and homes built to current energy codes.
The 183A Toll extension toward Liberty Hill has opened up development further north, so the commute-distance conversation is different depending on which part of Leander a home sits in. I walk through that with every buyer before we start touring.
