Milwood REALTOR

Milwood sits in Northwest Austin off Parmer Lane, and I work it enough to know the details that actually affect a transaction here, starting with which school district a specific address falls into. I’ve covered those specifics in full on my Milwood neighborhood page. What I want to cover here is what it actually means that I’m a REALTOR and a Designated REALTOR at Uncommon Realty, and why that’s worth knowing before you pick an agent.

TLDR: Why the REALTOR Designation Matters

  1. REALTOR is a trademarked title. Not every licensed agent holds it. It means membership in the National Association of REALTORS and its Code of Ethics.
  2. I’m a Designated REALTOR at Uncommon Realty, a broker-level credential, not an administrative title.
  3. I also teach negotiation, contracts, and ethics to other agents nationally, which keeps my approach current with changing contract practice.
  4. My team is small by design. You get my direct attention, not a hand-off to whoever’s available.

What “REALTOR” actually means

Robbie English, REALTOR, Principle Agent, Broker, National Instructor, ABR, AHWD, CRB, C2EX, E-Pro, GRI, MRP, NHC, PSA, RENE, RPR, SFR, SRS, TBS, TLS, TAHSNot every real estate agent is a REALTOR. The term is trademarked and belongs to members of the National Association of REALTORS, who agree to a Code of Ethics that goes beyond what Texas licensing law requires on its own. When you work with a REALTOR, you’re working with someone accountable to that code in addition to state regulation.

What “Designated REALTOR” means

Being a Designated REALTOR is a broker-level credential, not an administrative or honorary title. It means I’m the broker of record who holds membership on behalf of my firm, Uncommon Realty. That distinction matters if you’re comparing agents, since it reflects a level of licensing and responsibility above a standard sales agent.

Why the national teaching background matters

I teach negotiation, contracts, and ethics to real estate agents around the country as a national speaker and instructor, alongside working transactions here in Austin. That keeps my approach current with changes to Texas contract practice, and I handle negotiation and pricing strategy personally rather than delegating it.

What this means for you in Milwood

If you want more on how that translates into actually working with me as a buyer or seller here, that’s on my Milwood real estate agent page. And if you’re getting ready to list, I go through pricing and prep specifics on my Milwood listing agent page.

Your Next Step in Milwood

If you’re buying or selling in Milwood, let’s talk about the specifics of your address and your goals. My team at Uncommon Realty and I are ready to help.
