Condos For Sale Buda TX

Buda sits in Hays County, just south of Austin along I-35. In 2005 the Texas Legislature named it the “Outdoor Capital of Texas,” and the city has kept building on that with parks like Buda City Park and the Onion Creek Trail running along Onion Creek near downtown. Condo inventory here is smaller than in Austin proper, but it’s grown as more buyers look south for lower prices and a shorter commute than Kyle or San Marcos.

Because condo communities in Buda are smaller and newer on average than what you’ll find in Austin, HOAs here are often still fairly young and building up their reserve funds. I check the reserve study, dues history, and any pending assessments before we write an offer, and I confirm which school within Hays CISD a property is zoned for – boundaries can shift as the district grows, so I never assume based on the address alone.

Flood zone status is also worth checking on anything near Onion Creek, given its history of flooding in this area – it’s a straightforward thing to verify and worth doing before you fall in love with a unit.

I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty. I work Hays County transactions regularly, and I can walk you through what’s actually available in Buda right now – condos here move fast when they’re priced right, since supply is limited.

Selling a condo in Buda

With fewer condo comps to work from, pricing takes more digging – I look at recent sales in the same community first, and if there aren’t enough, I widen out to comparable Hays County buildings rather than guessing off a citywide average.

Let’s Talk

Reach out and let’s go over what you’re looking for in Buda. I’ll give you a straight read on what’s available and whether it fits what you actually need.
