Included below are homes for sale in Kyle, TX.
I’ve worked with a lot of buyers looking at Kyle, and it’s easy to see the draw. The city sits about 20 miles south of Austin right along I-35, so you get small-town pricing and a quieter pace without giving up an easy commute into the city. It’s also one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas, and the housing mix reflects that — new construction alongside townhomes, so there’s usually something that fits your budget.
I’m Robbie English, a REALTOR/Broker with Uncommon Realty, and I built the search below so you can browse current Kyle listings in real time.
Parks, schools, and community
Kyle has solid outdoor space for a city its size. Gregg-Clarke Park has sports fields, picnic areas, and walking trails, and the Kyle Public Library is a regular gathering spot for locals.
Kyle is part of Hays Consolidated Independent School District.
Getting to Austin
Kyle sits right off I-35, so Austin’s restaurants, entertainment, and events are a short drive away whether you’re commuting for work or heading up for a weekend out.
Kyle has grown into the second-largest city in Hays County, largely because it still offers more house for the money than comparable spots closer to downtown Austin, and that growth has brought in more retail and dining along the I-35 corridor. Lake Kyle offers catch-and-release fishing and a playground, and hosts fishing tournaments through the year. Plum Creek Golf Course, an 18-hole public course on more than 200 acres, is also home to Texas State University’s men’s and women’s golf teams. If you’re weighing Kyle against neighboring Hays County cities, I also work Buda, just north of here.
