Silverado Ranch Homes for Sale in Cedar Park, TX

Silverado Ranch is an established neighborhood in Cedar Park, just south of Whitestone Boulevard, built out by KB Home starting back in 2005. It’s a smaller community, somewhere around 500 homes, with tree-lined streets and a settled feel you don’t always get in Cedar Park’s newer developments.

I’m Robbie English, a broker with Uncommon Realty here in Cedar Park.

Schools and location

Silverado Ranch is zoned to Leander ISD, with kids typically attending Ronald Reagan Elementary, Artie L. Henry Middle School, and Vista Ridge High School, all just a few minutes from the neighborhood. Brushy Creek Lake Park and the sports fields at Brushy Creek Sports Park are close by if your family plays soccer or baseball, and 1890 Ranch Shopping Center covers most day-to-day shopping and dining without a long drive. Whitestone Boulevard (RM 1431) runs right along the neighborhood and connects west into Cedar Park and east toward Round Rock, and the 183A Toll and US 183 are both close enough for a straightforward commute into Austin or up to Leander.

What’s in the neighborhood

Residents have access to a community pool with a clubhouse, a playground, and outdoor gathering space, and the single-family homes here range in size depending on when a given section was built. Since the neighborhood has been established for close to two decades, there’s more variation in finishes and updates than you’d find in a brand-new community, so it’s worth walking a few different homes before deciding what fits, and worth budgeting for updates on an older kitchen or bath if you fall for a home that hasn’t been touched in a while.

What to Ask About Before You Offer

Because this neighborhood is 15 to 20 years old now, I always walk clients through what’s original to the home versus what’s been updated — roof age, HVAC age, and whether the kitchen or baths have been touched matter more here than in new construction, where everything’s under warranty by default. It’s a normal part of buying in an established neighborhood, but it’s easy to overlook if you’re focused on the floor plan and location alone.

If you’re considering buying a home in Silverado Ranch, you can explore the current homes for sale below. When you find a property that interests you, I can help you evaluate the home, understand how it compares with other properties in the neighborhood, prepare your offer, and work through the details from contract to closing.

If Silverado Ranch’s current inventory is thin when you’re looking, I usually point buyers toward other established Cedar Park communities nearby, like Ranch at Deer Creek, the newer Trento, Ranch at Cypress Creek on the west side of Cedar Park, Deerfield Park, or Quarry Oaks if you want condos instead of single-family homes. For the full picture of what’s on the market citywide, see Cedar Park real estate listings, or feel free to schedule a buyer consultation and we can talk through what fits your budget and timeline.
