Leander TX Townhomes For Sale

Leander sits at the northern end of the Capital MetroRail Red Line, which means it’s one of the only Central Texas suburbs where a train commute into downtown Austin is actually an option. If a lower-maintenance property is what you’re after, Leander TX townhomes for sale are worth a real look, and I can walk you through what’s actually out there right now. I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty.

Leander is in Williamson County, and the 183A Toll Road runs 16 miles from RM 620 in Northwest Austin through Cedar Park and into Leander, so getting around the area is fast even during peak traffic. It’s home to master-planned communities like Crystal Falls, a golf course community with Hill Country views, and Travisso, a luxury Italian-inspired community about 30 to 40 minutes from downtown Austin via 183A. Townhomes tend to cluster closer to the 183A corridor and near the MetroRail station, which is exactly where you want to be if train access matters to your decision.

What to expect from Leander townhomes

Most townhome communities here are newer builds, from the last decade or so, with open floor plans, attached garages, and shared amenities like a pool or walking trail built into the HOA. They run smaller than a single-family home but usually cost less to maintain, which is the trade-off most of my townhome buyers are making on purpose.

One thing worth checking on any Leander townhome: HOA dues and what they actually cover vary a lot between communities here, from just exterior maintenance to full landscaping and amenity access, so I always pull the HOA docs before a client writes an offer rather than after.

If you want to compare against other property types nearby, take a look at luxury condos in Leander, luxury homes in Leander, or standard condos in Leander.

Contact me and I’ll help you sort through what’s currently on the market.
