Top-Rated Listing Agents for Highland Lakes

“Highland Lakes” isn’t one town, it’s the string of six lakes on the Colorado River, Buchanan, Inks, LBJ, Marble Falls, Travis, and Austin, spread across Burnet, Llano, Travis, and Williamson counties. Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Granite Shoals, Kingsland, and Burnet all sell differently from each other, even though they’re all “Highland Lakes.” If you’re looking for a top-rated listing agent for this region, I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Highland Lakes Realty, and I work these lake towns directly rather than treating them as one interchangeable market.

TL;DR: Top-Rated Listing Agents for Highland Lakes

  • The Highland Lakes region spans six lakes and four counties, so “Highland Lakes” experience has to mean knowing several distinct small markets, not just one.
  • Lake access, view, and lot type move pricing more than they would in a typical Austin-area subdivision.
  • I hold advanced REALTOR designations and have taught real estate professionals nationally since 2016.
  • I’ve spent more than 40 years in Central Texas real estate, including direct work throughout the Highland Lakes.
  • I handle pricing, marketing, and negotiation on my listings myself.

Why a regional label needs regional experience

A listing agent who’s worked one Highland Lakes town isn’t automatically equipped for another. Marble Falls has a different buyer pool than Kingsland; Horseshoe Bay’s golf-and-country-club market moves differently than Granite Shoals’ lake-cottage market. Real “top-rated” experience in this region means having actually worked more than one of these towns, not applying an Austin playbook to all of them.

What the credentials behind that experience look like

I’m a licensed Texas Broker and Designated REALTOR, and I hold advanced designations from the National Association of REALTORS, including Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), and Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), among others. Since 2016 I’ve also traveled nationally as a real estate instructor, teaching other agents and brokers on contracts, negotiation, and pricing strategy, work that’s tested by working professionals, not just by clients comparing me to nothing else.

Pricing that respects the differences between towns

A generic regional comp set is one of the fastest ways to leave money on the table, or sit unsold, in a lake market. Lake access, view, and lot type change a home’s value here more than they would in a typical neighborhood, so I price against what’s actually selling nearby in that specific town, not a Burnet County average.

Direct involvement, not a hand-off

I handle the pricing analysis, marketing, and negotiation on my own listings directly. Selling a longtime lake property, in particular, often comes with more moving parts, family history, deferred maintenance, unusual lot boundaries, and having one person who knows the file end to end matters.

If you’re weighing your options for selling somewhere in the Highland Lakes, reach out and let’s talk through your specific town and property.
