Deerfield Park is a residential neighborhood in Cedar Park, close to Brushy Creek Lake Park — a 90-acre park with kayaking, fishing, a water playscape, and miles of hike-and-bike trails that connect into the larger Brushy Creek Trail System. Most of Cedar Park, including this neighborhood, is zoned to Leander ISD, which was ranked the #2 school district in the Austin area by Niche in 2025.
I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty, and I work with buyers throughout Cedar Park, including here in Deerfield Park.
Home styles in Deerfield Park mix traditional ranch layouts with newer construction that’s gone in on infill lots over the years, so you’ll find a range of ages and price points on the same streets rather than one uniform builder look.
Living near Brushy Creek
Brushy Creek Lake Park is the biggest draw for a lot of my clients looking in this part of Cedar Park — it’s open from half an hour before sunrise until 10pm, and the water playscape runs daily May through August. Between the park and the trail system, it’s an easy neighborhood for anyone who wants outdoor access without leaving the city.
Cedar Park as a whole has been one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas for years, and the area around Deerfield Park has filled in accordingly — you won’t find much raw land left nearby, but resales and the occasional infill build still come up regularly. Twin Creeks Country Club is a short drive away if golf is part of what you’re looking for in a neighborhood.

If Deerfield Park doesn’t have the right home available when you’re ready, I’d also point you toward Forest Oaks, Creekview, or Cross Creek — all close by with a similar mix of home ages and sizes.
