I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty, and I work with buyers across Southwest Austin, an area that really covers two different kinds of markets. There’s Circle C Ranch, a master-planned community near Mopac and Escarpment Boulevard that’s fully built out with no new subdivisions coming, and there’s Oak Hill, further out toward the US-290/SH 71 “Y,” with a more rural feel and larger lots.
I’ve spent decades in this market, and I also train other agents nationally as a real estate speaker and instructor, work that keeps me current on negotiation and pricing strategy in ways that carry over to the buyers I represent here.
What Buyers Should Know
Circle C draws buyers who want established amenities, a swim center, and easy access to Barton Creek, but since it’s fully built out, inventory only comes from resales, which keeps competition steady. Oak Hill tends to suit buyers who want more land and privacy while staying a reasonable drive from central Austin. Both areas fall within different pockets of Austin ISD zoning, so it’s worth understanding exactly which school zone a specific property falls into before you fall in love with it.
How I Work With Buyers
I start by understanding what actually matters to you: commute, lot size, amenities, or school zoning, then help you evaluate properties honestly against those priorities instead of a generic “Southwest Austin” label. I handle negotiation and contract terms directly, and I’ll flag anything in a property’s condition or history that’s worth a second look before you write an offer.
