Spicewood at Bull Creek is one of my favorite Northwest Austin neighborhoods to show buyers who want mature trees and a quiet, established feel without giving up easy access to the city. It sits south of Anderson Mill Road and north of Spicewood Springs Road, just west of US 183 — about 18 miles from downtown, close enough for a reasonable commute.
I’m Robbie English, a REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty here in Austin.
Living in Spicewood at Bull Creek
Homes here range from charming single-story layouts to larger multi-level properties, and no two blocks look quite the same — this wasn’t built out as a cookie-cutter subdivision. Bull Creek itself runs through the area, and Spicewood Valley Trail, Northwest Balcones Park, and Tanglewood Park give residents plenty of green space for walking, running, or just getting outside without driving anywhere.
The Balcones Country Club is a social hub for a lot of residents, with swimming, tennis, and golf available to members. Kids in this neighborhood attend Round Rock ISD schools, which is worth knowing since it’s easy to assume otherwise given how close the area sits to Austin.

Spicewood at Bull Creek isn’t the only option in this part of town — see the list below for a few nearby neighborhoods I show buyers, or reach out and I’ll walk you through what’s currently available across all of them.
