What It’s Like Selling Your Lakeway Home With Robbie

Selling a home in Lakeway takes more than a sign in the yard and a few photos online, but if you’re trying to decide who to list with, what probably matters most is what the actual experience of working with that agent is like once your home goes live. I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and broker at Uncommon Realty, and this page is about exactly that: what to expect from me week by week once we start.

TL;DR: What Selling With Robbie English Actually Looks Like

  • I handle your listing personally from the first walkthrough to closing day, not through a rotating team.
  • You get real updates after every showing, not just a monthly check-in.
  • When an offer comes in, I call you and walk through it before you have to decide anything.
  • I tell you when a price adjustment or strategy change is needed, even if it’s not what you want to hear.

Before We List: Getting the Property Ready

Before your home ever hits the MLS, I walk the property with you and talk through what’s actually worth doing, and what isn’t, to get it ready for photos and showings. That’s a conversation, not a checklist I hand you and disappear. I also set expectations upfront on pricing and timeline so there aren’t surprises once the listing goes live.

Once You’re Live: How Often You’ll Hear From Me

After each showing, I follow up with the agent for feedback and pass it along to you, whether it’s useful or not. If a week goes by with low activity, I tell you that directly and we talk about whether anything needs to change, rather than letting silence stretch into a stale listing. You’re not chasing me for updates. I’m the one reaching out.

When an Offer Comes In

I call before I email. When an offer arrives, I walk you through the terms, the buyer’s financing, and what I think the real negotiating room looks like, then we decide together how to respond. I don’t push you toward a decision on a timeline that doesn’t work for you, but I also won’t sit on an offer past when it needs a response.

Through Inspection, Appraisal, and Closing

Once you’re under contract, I stay on top of the inspection response, any appraisal issues, and the closing timeline, and I flag anything that needs your attention as it comes up rather than batching it into one overwhelming update. If something threatens to delay closing, you hear about it from me immediately, not after the fact.

Why I Work This Way

I’m also a national real estate speaker and instructor, training agents across the country on pricing strategy, negotiation, and communication with clients. Part of what I teach is exactly this: sellers do better when they’re not left guessing about where things stand. If you want the pricing and marketing mechanics specifically, separate from what the day-to-day experience looks like, I’ve laid that out on my page about how a Lakeway listing actually gets priced and marketed.

Let’s Get Your Home Sold

Whether you’re upsizing, downsizing, or making a strategic move, I’d like to help, alongside my team at Uncommon Realty.

Reach out today and let’s talk about a strategy for your home sale.
