Westminster Glen sits northeast of Steiner Ranch, about 15 minutes from downtown Austin. It’s an upscale neighborhood of more than 200 single-family homes on lots ranging from about one to five acres, with Hill Country views on a lot of the larger lots. It’s zoned to Leander ISD, with kids typically attending River Place Elementary, Four Points Middle School, and Vandegrift High School.

The bigger lots are the main draw — it’s hard to find an acre or more this close to downtown almost anywhere else in Northwest Austin. Homes here run from more traditional layouts to newer remodels, with the larger lots giving room for pools, guest houses, or just more separation between neighbors than you’d get in a standard subdivision.
The neighborhood has its own homeowners association, Westminster Glen Estates, which maintains the entrance and common areas rather than running a full amenity center — part of why lot sizes here run bigger than a typical HOA community closer in. Because the area developed gradually rather than all at once under a single builder, you’ll see more architectural variety here than in a lot of newer Northwest Austin subdivisions.

If nothing’s currently available in Westminster Glen, I’d also point you toward River Place, which shares the same elementary school zone, or Long Canyon and Cat Mountain a bit further into Northwest Austin.
