Southwest Austin TX Real Estate Brokers

Southwest Austin covers a lot of different ground, from the master-planned community of Circle C Ranch near Mopac and Escarpment Boulevard to the more rural, larger-lot feel of Oak Hill around the US-290/SH 71 “Y.” I’m Robbie English, REALTOR and Broker at Uncommon Realty, and I’ve spent decades helping buyers and sellers navigate the differences between these pockets.

I also train other agents nationally as a real estate speaker and instructor, work that keeps me sharp on negotiation and pricing strategy in ways that carry over directly to my clients here, even if I’d rather walk you through the specifics in a real conversation than in a web page.

Why Southwest Austin Isn’t One Market

Circle C Ranch is fully built out at this point, with no new subdivisions coming, which keeps inventory tight and demand steady for its established homes, amenity centers, and access to Barton Creek. Oak Hill, by contrast, tends to offer more privacy and larger lots with a more rural character, while still being a reasonable commute into central Austin. Both fall inside different pockets of Austin ISD zoning, and pricing between them isn’t directly comparable even though both get lumped under “Southwest Austin.”

What I Do as Your Broker

For sellers, that means pricing your home against the right comps for its specific submarket, whether that’s Circle C, Oak Hill, or one of the neighborhoods in between, and marketing it to the buyers most likely to want what it actually offers.

For buyers, I’ll help you understand the real trade-offs between these areas: commute time, lot size, amenities, and school zoning, so you’re comparing homes that are actually comparable. I handle negotiation and contract terms directly so you have an experienced advocate through closing.
