Thank You. I’ll Be in Touch Shortly.
I’m looking forward to learning more about what you’re hoping to accomplish and how I can help.
A buyer consultation gives us a chance to talk through your goals, timing, financing, and what matters most to you in a home. Whether this is your first purchase or you’ve bought several homes before, I’ll tailor our conversation to where you are in the process.
What We’ll Talk About
We’ll discuss what you’re looking for, where you want to be, your preferred timeline, and any questions or concerns you already have. I’ll also explain the buying process, buyer representation, financing and pre-approval, how we evaluate properties, and what happens once we find a home you want to pursue.
Finding a house is only one part of buying a home. Much of my work begins after we find it: evaluating the property, helping you understand the contract, structuring an offer, negotiating terms, managing deadlines, and helping you make informed decisions all the way to closing.
Experience You Can Put to Work
I’ve spent more than 40 years in real estate, and I also teach real estate professionals across the country about contracts, representation, negotiation, and other parts of the business. I bring that experience to the table for my clients, but my job during our consultation isn’t to impress you with what I know. It’s to use what I know to help you make better decisions.
You won’t get pressure from me to buy a particular house or make a decision before you’re ready. I’ll tell you what I see, point out things worth considering, answer your questions, and help you understand your options.
Start Looking at Homes Now
You don’t have to wait for our consultation to start exploring homes. Download my home search app and start looking at properties right away. You can begin getting a feel for what’s available, save homes that catch your attention, and start narrowing down what you like and what you don’t.
The homes you save can also give us a great starting point for our conversation. Sometimes seeing a few actual properties tells me more about what you’re looking for than a long list of features ever could.
Before We Talk
If you have questions you want to make sure we cover, write them down and bring them with you. There are no bad questions, and I’d rather you understand something before making a decision than wonder about it afterward.
In the meantime, you can also explore my Resource Center for articles about buying a home, financing, buyer representation, contracts, inspections, negotiations, and other topics that may be helpful as you prepare.
I look forward to talking with you.
