Why I Write Real Estate Blog Articles

There’s a lot of noise out there. When it comes to real estate, misinformation spreads like wildfire—online, in conversations, even from the mouths of those who should know better. That’s exactly why I write real estate blog articles. I believe in sharing quality information, clearing up confusion, and offering deep insights from my decades of experience in the trenches of the real estate industry.

And let’s be honest—just because someone once bought a house, or Googled “how to sell my home fast,” doesn’t make them an expert. It doesn’t even make them informed. Yet, everyone and their dog seems to think they know everything about real estate. I’ve been in this business for over 40 years, and I’ll tell you plainly: I still don’t know everything. Real estate isn’t a quick-fix industry. It isn’t something you master with a blog post and a YouTube video. It takes years of experience, continuous education, and an obsession with doing things the right way.

Why I Write Real Estate Blog Articles

Misinformation Is a Real Problem

I don’t write for vanity. I’m not here to impress you with flashy headlines or polished clichés. I write because people are being led astray. Misinformation costs buyers money, sellers peace of mind, and agents their reputation. I’ve seen it over and over again—people relying on advice from social media influencers or outdated articles written by someone who’s never even held a real estate license.

Sometimes, even real estate professionals pass along wrong information. Not intentionally, perhaps, but due to ignorance. That might sound harsh, but it’s the truth. Over the years, I’ve taught more agents than I can count—agents who have been in the business for 10, 15, even 20+ years—and they never knew certain rules even existed. Why? Because they never read them.

They didn’t know the rulebook, but they were still playing the game. And nobody enjoys playing a board game with someone who doesn’t know the rules. Real estate is no different.

What I See Every Day—and Why It Matters

Clients rely on professionals for guidance. When that guidance is based on assumption, guesswork, or flat-out fiction, the consequences can be devastating. Legal missteps. Contractual oversights. Poor pricing strategies. Missed opportunities. And who pays for that? The client does. That’s unacceptable.

This is where sharing quality information becomes not just a service, but a responsibility. When I put my thoughts down in writing, I’m not just sounding off. I’m offering a clear, educated voice in an echo chamber of nonsense. I want consumers to have access to information they can trust. Real, researched, reliable information that helps them make informed decisions—not emotional ones based on clickbait headlines or “one-size-fits-all” advice.

Teaching the Teachers

As a national real estate speaker and real estate instructor, I’ve had the opportunity to stand in front of thousands of agents across the country. I’ve seen the lights go on when someone finally understands why something is done a certain way—not just that it’s done.

The most humbling thing? Sometimes it’s a veteran agent, someone who’s been in the business longer than most homes have had the same roof, who tells me, “Robbie, I never knew that.” That’s not failure. That’s a gap in education. And I want to fill that gap—not just for agents, but for the everyday buyer, seller, investor, and renter.

Why I write real estate blog articles is because I want to be part of the solution.

When Opinions Pose as Expertise

There’s a big difference between having an opinion and having knowledge. The problem in real estate is that too many people confuse the two. They read a blog, watch a video, and suddenly believe they’re qualified to challenge a licensed, experienced professional.

It’s easy to talk confidently when you don’t know what you don’t know. But when I write, I write with the intention of giving people access to my knowledge—forty years of earned, hard-won experience. It’s not hearsay. It’s not recycled buzzwords. It’s truth.

And here’s the key: it’s not just about knowing the “what.” It’s about understanding the “why.” Why does a clause exist in a contract? Why is timing important in a listing agreement? Why do certain processes unfold in specific ways? These aren’t things you just “pick up.” They’re things you study, teach, and live through.

Sharing Quality Information Is an Investment in You

At the heart of it all, sharing quality information is how I invest in others. It’s how I open up the way I think, and allow others—whether they’re clients, colleagues, or curious learners—to step inside and see how a committed, rule-following, service-oriented real estate professional approaches the job.

I’ve never been interested in ego-driven sales. I don’t care about stacking up plastic awards that I’ll have to dust later. I care about impact. I care about legacy. I care about people walking away from their transaction better, smarter, and happier than when they started.

This is what fuels the writing. It’s not about boosting my profile—it’s about raising the standard. Because we all deserve better in this business and it truly is my investment in you.

Why Robbie English and His Team Set the Bar

You might be wondering, “Okay, but why should I trust what you have to say?” Fair question. Let me answer it.

I’m Robbie English, Broker and REALTOR at Uncommon Realty. I’ve been immersed in real estate for four decades and still going. I didn’t just learn this industry—I’ve shaped it. I’ve trained thousands of agents, consulted on complex deals, and helped countless buyers and sellers make smart, confident moves.

When you work with me and my team, you’re not just getting service. You’re getting expert guidance, rooted in education, strategy, and integrity. You’re getting professionals who know the rules, follow the rules, and understand when and how to help you win the game by them.

My experience as a national instructor gives me a unique edge. I don’t just stay up to date—I teach the updates. I don’t just follow best practices—I help define them.

And when I write real estate blog articles, that same level of dedication shows up on the page.

The Real Reason I Write

Why I write real estate blog articles goes beyond marketing, beyond branding. I write because this business matters to me. People’s lives, finances, and futures are tied up in real estate decisions. That’s no small thing.

I’ve watched too many people stumble because they relied on half-truths and hot takes. I’ve watched agents make up policies rather than look up procedures. I’ve even heard professionals confidently declare something that was blatantly false—all because they didn’t take the time to read the rules.

And that’s why I keep writing.

Because someone has to say what’s true.
Someone has to put in the work.
Someone has to raise the bar.

I do it for my clients, for my colleagues, and for the industry as a whole.

A Window Into My Brain

Every article I write gives you a window into how I think—how I approach negotiation, navigate contracts, evaluate properties, and protect my clients’ best interests. When I sit down to write, I’m not just typing out random thoughts. I’m distilling years of lessons, challenges, and victories into something you can actually use. Something that makes you better informed.

Sharing quality information isn’t just a habit. It’s a mission. And I’ll keep doing it as long as there’s bad information out there muddying the waters for people trying to make smart real estate decisions.

Closing Thoughts

So here’s the bottom line.
Real estate is complex.
People deserve clarity.
And that’s why I write.

If you’ve ever read something online and felt more confused than before, if you’ve ever gotten advice from someone who swore they knew what they were doing—and then didn’t—you’re not alone. The industry has a lot of noise. But I’m here to offer a clear, steady voice above the fray.

Why I write real estate blog articles is simple: to empower, to educate, and to elevate.

And if you’re ready to work with someone who doesn’t just talk the talk, but walks it every day—my team and I are here to help. With expert guidance, decades of knowledge, and a genuine commitment to doing things right, we’ll help you navigate real estate with confidence.

Let’s make your next move the right one.
