- Proximity to Kingsland and Lake LBJ. Llano sits close enough to Kingsland that it’s a realistic option if you want small-town Hill Country character without direct lake frontage.
- The Llano River itself. Unlike the reservoir lakes that define most of the Highland Lakes, the Llano River is a free-flowing river — a different kind of water access with a different set of considerations.
